Soprano ICE Laser Hair Removal works by gradually heating the dermis to a temperature that effectively damages the hair follicles and prevents re-growth, while avoiding injury to the surrounding tissue and is virtually pain fee. It offers a quick treatment times and highly effective results that mean you no longer need to constantly wax, shave or epilate which can often cause irritation to the skin.

Consultation Procedure 
 

A free consultation is carried out in which a medical history is taken to confirm suitability for treatment. There is also an opportunity for any questions you may have to be answered. Before treatment you will be asked to give informed consent, and a small test patch will be carried out at least 24 hours prior to your first session.

PREPARATION BEFORE YOUR FIRST TREATMENT:
 

• Please SHAVE the area the night before or morning of the treatment, if you are unshaven, we may not be able to treat you. 

• Avoid prolonged sun exposure/sun bathing of the treatment area for 3-4 weeks before and 2 weeks after treatment. 

• Use sunscreen SPF 50 always throughout the course of your treatment. 

• You MUST avoid bleaching, plucking or waxing hair for4- 6 weeks prior to treatment, as this allows hairs to grow that are then targeted from your first laser treatment. 

• Do not use depilatory creams 1 week prior to treatment. 

• Stop using self-tanning creams two week before treatment.

Treatment: 
 

You will be given protective eyewear during the procedure.

​

Gel will be applied to the treatment area to allow the hand-piece to glide across the skin and to ensure the top layer of skin is protected 

 

Your technician will ensure your comfort and safety, however at any time you may ask questions 

The treatment time will vary on what areas of the body are being treated, each area needs a set level of laser energy administered to achieve results. After the gel will be removed and you can then resume normal activity

Number of Treatments 
 

• Six to eight treatment sessions are needed to provide a permanent reduction of hair growth. This is because at any given time some of the follicles in the treatment area won't be in the growth phase. We spread our treatments out to make sure that hair that isn't treated in one session is affected in the next. 

• Facial hair tends to be more stubborn and may need ten to twelve treatment sessions or occasionally more in very resistant cases. The gap between sessions is usually four to 5 weeks for facial areas and six to eight weeks for body areas. 

• The number of hair removal sessions depends on various factors, including where the hair is, how thick it is and also your particular skin type and hair colour. For the best results, we recommend that you complete the full series of treatment.

After Care 
 

• For the first few days after your treatment you should apply aloe Vera gel to soothe the affected area. 

• Sun cream of at least SPF50 should be applied to exposed treated areas every day for at least two weeks, regardless of the weather. You shouldn't expose the treated area to the sun or use sun beds for at least 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after treatment. A more detail aftercare sheet will be provided in the consultation.
