Treatment Timeline: Which Area Should I Get Lasered When?

No doubt about it, the beauty of laser hair removal lies in its precision, ease, and long-lasting effects - but timing your treatments across different body areas, especially when using multiple laser hair removal packages, can require strategic planning. After treating hundreds of clients over the years, I've perfected the art of treatment scheduling to maximise your results whilst fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle.
Starting with Your Priority Areas
Most clients begin with their most bothersome areas – typically underarms and bikini line for women, or face and neck for men. These areas respond beautifully to laser treatment and show results relatively quickly, giving you that confidence boost whilst you plan your next areas.
The 4-6 Week Rule
Each body area follows the natural hair growth cycle, requiring treatments every 4-6 weeks to begin with (progressing to every 6-8 weeks). However, you don't need to wait between different areas. Many clients opt to treat their legs during one session, then book their bikini area two weeks later, creating a staggered schedule that keeps you progressing without having to block hours out of your day to spend in the treatment room.
Seasonal Considerations
Often the benefits of laser hair removal can be seen from the first session. With this in mind, in springtime clients often prioritise legs and bikini areas ready for summer confidence, whilst autumn clients focus on facial areas and underarms.
It's important to remember that if it's your first time treating an area, 6-8 sessions are recommended to achieve optimal results. Whilst there's definitely no "wrong" time, starting your leg treatments in February ensures you're 100% beach-ready by June.
Soprano Titanium and Sun... A Match Made in Heaven!
Unlike traditional laser hair removal, the beauty of London Aesthetica's laser machine, Soprano Titanium, means that tanned or melanated skin can easily be treated without having to wait weeks before/after sun exposure. If the desired area has recently been exposed to sun, simply book your laser treatment 2-3 days later. Likewise, if you're going on holiday, you can book your laser treatment with us as late as 2-3 days before sun exposure.
The Full-Body Approach
For those wanting comprehensive results, we recommend starting with 2-3 areas simultaneously. This approach is cost-effective and ensures consistent progress across all treated zones. Popular combinations include legs with bikini, or underarms with half-leg treatments. Of course - we do also offer a Full Body laser hair removal package for those ready to commit.
Your treatment timeline should reflect your lifestyle, budget, and aesthetic goals. During your consultation, we'll create a personalised schedule that delivers results when you need them most.
