Teeth Whitening:

What is teeth whitening?

Teeth whitening can be a very effective way of lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface. It cannot make a complete colour change, but it can lighten the existing shade.

Who Cannot have teeth whitening?

Anyone who is currently suffering from gum disease. It is essential that if you have any signs of gum disease you should be seen by your dentist.

How long does the appointment take?

Appointments only take 1 hour. That’s right, it only takes 1 hour for amazing white teeth!

I don’t want my white teeth to go too white, very natural, can this be achieved?

During the appointment, we monitor your teeth and will ensure they do not go lighter than the agreed shade in your consultation.

Can you have treatment on your veneers, caps, crowns and fillings?

The teeth whitening procedure will not whiten crowns, caps, fillings or veneers. However, they shall be restored to their original colour and will not cause any damage.

How long will the results last?

For most people, the results are long lasting. Exposure to coffee, tea, tobacco, red wine and other stain producing substances will eventually darken teeth.

Your teeth should stay noticeably whiter for 18-24 months after having laser teeth whitening treatment. We offer an excellent aftercare range to help you keep your perfect white smile!

Is teeth whitening safe?

This is the question that concerns most people. The majority of people find the process completely painless, however a small percentage may experience temporary sensitivity to hot or cold for 24 – 48 hours following treatment.
